  • Diogenes was a Greek philosopher, reportedly born sometime between 412 to 460 BC. His
"uncompromising zeal for exposing vice and stirring men to reform" makes him a most
appropriate namesake for the featured magazine of NJCDLP.

  • "Tradition ascribes to (Diogenes) the famous search for an honest man conducted in broad
daylight with a lighted lantern." DIOGENES the magazine, approaches the mission from a slightly
different perspective. It strives to be like a "lighted lantern", revealing what other media outlets
conceal and that is the government mismanagement and abuses undermining America as
described by government insiders and watchdogs.

The light of Diogenes is to shine again!

NJCDLP halted publication of its magazine DIOGENES, primarily due to lagging subscriptions.
Yet government reform activists continue to need a high-quality, national media outlet, always receptive to their
messages; affordable; and easily accessed by Americans who are reasonably conscientious, but unlikely to
closely monitor social/political events through on-line communications.

The hopeful solution is DIOGENES in digital media!
Look for it in 2008.
PROSPECTIVE ADVERTISERS:

The stage is set. "Diogenes" is the only outlet of its kind for
government reform communities with members, collectively numbering
in the millions. Its target audience is conscientious people, all across
America. Pretty large group, wouldn't you say? Then why aren't we
featuring your products and services?

There is simply no media outlet more accessible than magazines. Their
messages insinuate into the lives of people with relative ease. Combine
a little shelf space or counter top with some curiosity and spare time
and you've got an audience. And the process repeats itself, sometimes
for years to come as circulated magazines are usually retained longer
than other print media.

So, whether you cater to consumer interests or government affairs,
"Diogenes" reaches out to people who should be reaching you. Take
advantage of our national network at nominal cost. Deliver is what we
do. For more information, contact us:

GOVERNMENT REFORM ACTIVISTS:

While "Diogenes" will undoubtedly be a source of enjoyment
and information for all who read it, the magazine is not being
published primarily for the entertainment or even edification of
government reform communities. "Diogenes" is to be widely
distributed outside those communities - insinuating itself into
the lives of people who may not otherwise hear our messages
as much more than background noise. Isn't that the kind of
exposure you need?

"Diogenes" cannot become the highly accessible, national
media outlet it was intended to be without your support. Your
pivotal question should be: "Do you want the magazine read?"
Compare that to this question as you consider subscribing: "Do
you want to read the magazine?"

We recognize that most reform activists are "over informed"
through internet exchanges. They probably don't need a
traditional magazine to remain abreast of things that matter to
them. However, traditional magazines can reach audiences
unlikely to scout out government reform efforts in cyberspace.
"Diogenes" was accordingly created to be an advocacy tool.

Become a stakeholder in a national media outlet created
especially for you. It's your voice. Let it be heard. Subscribe to
"Diogenes" today!
